Nova Rush — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Nova Rush ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile game application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account information (display name, email, profile photo) if you sign in with Google or Facebook
An anonymous account identifier is created automatically when you start playing
Game progress, scores, achievements, settings, guild membership, and daily reward state
Communications with other players via guild chat and social features

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device model, operating system version, and a device identifier (a randomly generated ID used to keep your local progress)
App usage data and gameplay statistics
Crash reports and performance data
Advertising ID (for ads served to players aged 13 and older)
Push notification tokens (for optional notifications)

2.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

Firebase Authentication — account creation and sign-in (anonymous, Google, and Facebook)
Cloud Firestore — online data storage and sync (progress, scores, guilds, friends, chat, leaderboards, tournaments)
Firebase Analytics — usage analytics
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
Firebase Remote Config — app configuration and feature flags
Firebase Cloud Messaging — optional push notifications
Firebase App Check — app integrity verification
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — advertisements shown only to players aged 13 and older. AdMob may collect advertising ID, IP address, and device information to serve ads.
Google Play Services — Play Integrity and platform services
Google Sign-In — account authentication
Facebook Login (via Meta SDK) — account authentication

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your data.

The App does not contain in-app purchases or real-money payment features. Any in-game rewards, currency, ships, or upgrades are earned through gameplay.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the App
To sync game progress across devices
To display leaderboards and social features (guilds, friends, chat, tournaments)
To manage daily rewards, streaks, and progression systems
To serve advertisements to eligible players (aged 13 and older), in accordance with your consent choices
To send push notifications (with your permission)
To analyze usage and fix crashes
To comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising and GDPR Consent

The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. We use a consent mechanism to obtain your consent for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR (Europe) and similar privacy regulations.

You can manage your privacy choices at any time from the App's Settings screen under "Manage Privacy Choices". Resetting your choices will re-prompt the consent dialog.

5. Data Storage and Security

Local data is stored securely on your device, protected by device encryption where available
Online data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform)
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
Firebase services encrypt data in transit and at rest

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:

With third-party service providers listed in Section 2.3
To comply with legal obligations
To protect our rights and safety

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access, update, or delete your personal data
Withdraw consent for data processing
Opt out of personalized advertising

You can delete your account and associated data directly in the App, or by following the steps on our Delete Account page.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising is not shown to users we identify as under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time in the App. Analytics and crash data may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top.

11. Revoking Consent

You can revoke your consent for personalized advertising at any time:

Open the App
Go to Settings → Privacy
Tap "Manage Privacy Choices"
Toggle off personalized ads or reset your consent

You may also reset your advertising ID via your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID).
